Theresa congrats on your upcomming surgery we are buddies I am also having mine Monday. Hope all goes well for both of us and God is watching over us.

Wow, you all ..... it has been one hell of an evening. It is not about 3 am on Thursday and I am up and running. I will first share with you what last night brought me (this will explain why I am not sleeping). Kenny and I went to get a bite to eat at around 9 pm. at our local Waffle House. Well ........ as we were eating we decided to go for a little ride, to look at some campers. Our journey was well underway when Kenny came to a rolling stop ....... going a little under the traffic light. Well, you guessed it ........ right next to a police. Anyway, he got out of the truck and walked back to the police car, giving the officer his driver's license. Kenny returned to the truck ..... as he was waiting for the officer to write his ticket. The officer came back to our truck (hand cuffs in hand) and told Ken that he had 5 warrants out for his arrest in 3 near by communities (Gulf Shores, Foley, and Roberstdale), for those of you who do not live in Mobile ......... these communities are about 60 miles from here. Seems the warrants were for failing to appear in court, expired tag, expired license, and I can not remember the others. We both told the officer that this could not be so because he has never gotten a ticket. Well, they handcuffed him anyway and told me that they were meeting Foley police department and that he was being placed under arrest. I freaked. I could not believe what was happening.......... Here we were out on a pleasure drive and now my husband was being arrested for something he did not do. I was totally confused. When I told the police that I did not know where the police station is in Foley and that I would just have to follow them ........ he told me I could not. So, I headed to Foley, to rescue my other half. I called my mom on the cell phone and she said that she would call my brother and that they would be right on their way. Anyway, to shorten the story my brother called from his cell phone and said that Kenny had called my dad (I was on my cell phone with my lawyer and Kenny was getting a busy signal) and that they were bringing him home ...... seems they got the wrong person DUH! What an evening. Now the local police dept. told him that he could destroy the ticket........ not sure if that is the right thing to do........may check into the legality of this matter. What an embarrasment. Anyway, got to go back to the doctor tomorrow.......... seems the lab did not get my blood in time and it went bad :( Please continue to pray for me and my crazy life. What a night. 4 days and a wake up......... the count down is on. I have to go purchase a robe sometimes this weekend ......... guess that is all that I really need. Got the bags almost packed and ready. I now need to concentrate on cleaning this house :( I will stop my ramblin', just wound up tonight. Hugs to all Theresa

Hello to all. Today finds me entering the race to get all my house work done by Sunday. I have to catch up on all the chores that have been on the back fire since oh.......... around last August. This is usually a busy time for me because of all the things that back up during the school year. I have to get it all caught up because after my surgery and recovery ....... well it will be time for yet another school year. I have not heard anything from my blood work up so I guess everything was fine. Well, I have 4 days and a wake up so I guess the heat is on. As of right now I have One hundred twenty one hours and 5 minutes until I have to be at the hospital. Or should I say One hundred twenty three hours and 5 minutes until my surgery is scheduled to start. I can assure you all that 90% of that time will be spent trying to get my ducks in a row. I have not started to pack and to be honest with you all .......... I have not even given it a thought until now. I have to go out and purchase a robe and a few things as my house robe would not be suitable to wear in public LOL. Well, I am going to run for now. I got up a little too early and I think I am going to go lie across my bed for a few more minutes ........ guess I will get my game plan mapped out........... where to start in this pig pin. Theresa had her pre-op tests done today and it went well... I finally got a chance to talk to Theresa in person tonight and I must tell everyone that she is an AWESOME person with a tremendous amount of strength, heart, and desire... her date is June 10th ~ please wish her well on her upcoming journey... Ya~Ya

Theresa, You have the right frame of mind. Don't let what others say change your course. I will be there cheering you on every step of the way. I know you can do this and <giggle> hey won't the next family get togethers be fun :O) Keep your goal in sight and remember to have faith and know that God is on your side. Hello just got back from all the preop things and guess what it was not too bad. I feel great. Doc said my heart and lungs are fine. We are waiting for the blood test results. I feel better about this than I ever have before. God is good. I stayed up all night praying and I think it did me a lot of good. I could not sleep last night ........ so today finds me pretty tired. Keep the direct line open to the MASTER and together we can all make our dreams come true. Smile, I am! My love Theresa
