I wanted to congratulate you on your upcoming surgery!!! I'm sure you are doing a happy dance accompanied by some "NERVES"!!! Don't worry be happy, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope everything goes well and you are up and out and about real soon!!!

Hi Christina-- Good luck with your upcoming surgery. Dr. Shina is also my surgeon. I pray that God guides his hands in your surgery as He did with mine. You'll have a visiting nurse come to your home every day for about a week after surgery to monitor you, so don't worry too much about after care (giving yourself the fragmin injections is probably the worst part of aftercare) -- if I can answer any questions, please feel free to email me...or if I can help in any way.
