Christina, good luck with your surgery. And thanks for posting to me. Right now it seems that the waiting is the hardest part of all this. I have to wait till the 18th of NOvember before I can even get a date......but I guess good things come to those who wait, right? :-)

Hang in there Ms. Chrissy, God won't put anymore on you than you can handle at once, It will be alright, but I know how you feel cause I would feel the same way if it happened to me, I do know how it feels to get denied surgery, because it happened to me, but faith changes all things and I am now 110lbs. down and 51/2 months post-op. Your time is coming, stay strong. Tracy.

CHRISTINA~~ NO, it's normal to worry.... but, everyone reacts differently after surgery. Sometimes your tastes change from one day to the next. And sometimes what you can tolerate change from day to day. One night I ate tuna and it was fine, the next day it made me throw up. It's really about trial and error. I did pretty well on chicken broth and bean soup. But, everyone is different. Just remember to take it slow and follow your surgeon's instructions.

Just finished with the pre-ops, tomorrow i go back for a few more tests, and another set on the 18th. The days are dragging by, i wish November 1 would just get here already! Thank you all for your wellwishes and nice thoughts. I cant tell you how much i appreciate them

Christina, I am getting those same emails, some from yahoo.com and some from aol.com. I was told they are viruses, so I am not opening anything I don't recognize. Good luck.

Congradulations Christina on your upcoming surgery. I am praying that you have a quick and uneventful recovery. God bless you on the rest of your journey Sorry I don't have any receipes right now but if I find any I will send them along.
