Mindi, I am wishing you a successful, complication-free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my open RNY on 12/10/01 and can honestly say that I have NO regrets other than not having done this several years sooner. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you begin your healthy new life.

Mindi, it's a good thing you're having those feelings, otherwise I might think you may not be human and we may need to call the X-files. Hang in there Mindi. It will come full circle and you will reach your peace with your decision. I will be praying for you and your surgeon. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I posted a question earlier on making the incision less noticable. I havent had surgery yet but I have seen a couple profiles where the person has on a short shirt and or a bikini. I would love to be able to wear them too. Any tips please email me. Im trying to get ready for my surgery on 4-29. Also any other tips are welcome. My Dr hasnt really said much about after surgery.
