Mary, I'm so glad you are home and doing well. This time next year you will not be able to recognize yourself. I'm so proud of you!!!! Get your rest then get your exercise and take one step at a time.

Hi Everyone~I'm home!!! And doing great. My hospital experience was as pleasant as a hospital expierience can be. The staff was dedicated to bariatric patients and was very sensitive to our special needs. I was so impressed! I tried so hard to cover all the bases and be completely prepared for every aspect of this surgery and I believe for the most part that it paid off. The only thing I was not prepared for was the extent of the gas pains. I never knew gas could hurt so much!!!!! The good thing about them was that they passed pretty fast and once I started getting up and walking, they went away faster!!! Thank you to all you wonderful people who took the time to visit my surgery page and to pray for me. I truly believe we have a special group on this website to help us deal not only with the disease of obesity, but with the treatment of it. Thank you especially to Kelley Heyman for being such a terrific angel!!! I originally didn't think I needed an angel, but I must tell you it was wonderful having this thoughful and caring person checking on me and knowing she was reporting back to the group. There was a sense of connectivity that reinforced all the support that was coming my way. Hope everyone has a terrific Saturday! Lots of love to everybody!

Angel Reporting: Received a message today from Mary and I could not believe how good she sounds! She is in such good spirits and wants to thank all of you for all the kind words before and after her surgery. I'm going to try and call her tomorrow, I was so busy with my kids tonight. (sorry mary, I was thinking of you though)My prayers are still with you and I am praying that your recovery continues to be so good! *******HUGS*****

Angel reporting for duty! Spoke with Mary's hubby tonight and he said Mary is doing wonderful and will be coming home tomorrow. She is in a little pain but the gas is what is the most bothersome. So since she will be going on tomorrow could you all please, pretty please send her some well wishes and get well soon's on her surgery page??? I know she will love going through them all and it will really lift her spirits. Come on everyone, please?? Thank you all! *******HUGS*****

SWOOOSSSSHHHH!! Angel coming in for a landing.....eeeekkkkk...Whoops, hit that wall again. Anyways, Got an email from Randy, Mary Clark's caring husband, He said, Mary is still in pain but not as much as this morning, She is a lot better and looking more normal. Even when she was in all that pain the nurse told him that Mary was doing a lot better than some people that early after surgery! Way to Go Mary! We all knew you were a trooper and would come through this with flying colors! I am so proud of you! They are going to perform a leak test tomorrow morning and if she passes they will move her to a regular room. He will email me her room number as soon as she is in a regular room. I'll update as soon as I know more. ****HUGS****
