~^j^~ ANGEL REPORT.. Hiya folks, Great news to report, RICHIE IS HOME. I spoke to him this afternoon and although he still has some pain he says hes feeling better. Hes very happy to be home and is looking foward to a speedy recovery. Another BIG step in the beggining of a great journey. Way to go Richie, Great Job!! ~Jeff~

Awww Richie, your pics look great hon. You dont even look like you had surgery. I hope I feel that good. You have such a postive mental attitude tho, and I know that helps alot. Richie, I am really glad that I met you in the chat room and that I have gotten to follow you through your surgery stay! Seeing you in the pictures makes me believe that I can do it too! Although from the pictures I think you should call me Aunt Anna! You are doing great! Keep up the good work and hope to chat with you soon!

~^j^~ ANGEL REPORT: Hiyas folks, I spoke to richie earlier this afternoon and his spirits are up. He's doing GREAT! Dr. garber actually wanted him to go home yesterday but richie decided he'd like to stay another night. He was going to come home today but for those of you who dont live on the east coast, We were hit with a blizzard and currently have 20+ inches of snow on the ground in brooklyn. Its Still snowing so we will have to wait and see what tommorow brings. Hopefully richie will be on the move by tommorow. Richie has asked me to thank all of you for your great support. Richie, Keep your chin up and keep doing what they tell ya! Lots of love delivered from the chat room! I am glad to hear you are going home soon. In PA the storm is still brewing and we are under by 12 to 18 inches here near Pittsburgh! You might need a snowmobile to get home or opt for another day there! LOL! Lots of love, Anna :)

~~Honorary Angel Report~~ <p> Hello all, Jeff, my Sister Ann and I spent some time visiting with Richie yesterday, and he's doing great! He's a little sore, as to be expected, but everything is looking good. We accompanied him as he did laps up and down the corridor (which was actually a pretty long walk), and even found that we had to rush to keep up with him, hehe. He was sipping his water, and s/f Kool Aid, and using his aspirometer like a good patient ;) Jeff just spoke with him a few minutes ago on the phone, and Dr. Garber had told Richie he could go home today, but he opted to stay an extra day as he didn't feel quite ready to go home yet. As it turns out, we have a very large snow storm coming, but we expect that Richie will go home early tomorrow morning, and hopefully beat the brunt of the storm home. If anyone is interested in contacting Richie, you can call either Jeff's or my cell phone, and we will give you his number at the hospital. That's all for now =) <p> ~~Irene ~^j^~

Glad to hear that your little problem is all cleared up. You continue to be in my prayers! Take care Richie and hope to talk to you soon. Your angels are great to keep us in touch like this.
