Hello all and thanks so much to everyone who has posted to me! I been out of town for a bit due to my Mom being ill and haven't had much time online or even to think about me. Well I am 11 days away from my surgery date!! I am excited to get started on the new me. I took my son last week to the U.S. Space and Rocket center in Alabama and I was so embarassed cause I had to ask him to stop and wait on me a few times. He is 7 and full of energy lol. I am so looking forward to being able to climb stairs and walk larger distances without difficulty. My son loves me dearly and was great about it but I couldn't help feeling bad about it. I am 31 and single and I have been alone for awhile and I am so tired of it and this feeling. I am scared to meet guys and when I do I always wonder if they really do like me. I know its silly for a grown woman to feel this way but my emotions have been out of whack as much as my weight LOL. I have suffered great depression over my weight in the past few years. Well I am going thru my surgery alone my family is in Indiana and unable to come. I am kind of nervous about that and hope all goes well for me cause I need to get back on my feet ASAP so I can take care of my son cause I am a single parent. God bless everyone here and best of luck to all others having the surgery.
