I want all of you reading this message board that my friend VIRGINIA got her approval today!! HAPPY DANCE! Although I am not listed on her page as her angel, I have taken the position. She has had a long battle with the insurance and is anxiosly awaiting a surgery date now. GOOD LUCK!

Hello to all of you. I just wanted to pass on that my friend Virginia had her pre-op tests done and is that much closer to her surgery date. We found out that she may get to have the procedure done as soon as July too! HAPPY DANCE.

Hello to you Virginia! Mark here and I just wanted to say congratulations on your success with Dr. Sanderfer's office visit. You will do great here and this will be a good thing for you. To all reading this message: I will be her angel but the site is having trouble getting me listed on her page. I have known Virginia since we were in 9th grade (I think) and she is a wonderful person and doing this for all the right reasons. My wife had the procedure and has already lost 173 pounds. Anyone wanting to send Virginia a message would be highly appreciated as we all know. P.S. Virginia had the initial consult with the doctor's office and may be able to have the surgery as early as the first two weeks of July!!!!

05/23/2003-Today was my intial consult with Dr. Sanderfer office. I was so nervous I got there a half hour early. My mother went with me and she was very impressed by ALL the information that we were given. I need to get a psych consult, a EKG, Chest X-ray and a respitatory clearance and the blood work now. This is getting exciting now. I hope that this becomes a reality. Frank (the PA) Said that he see no reason why I should do great with this. thanks to all for the support and encouragment
