Feels funny posting under "yes, I have an update" on myself. It isn't quite 3 AM here in Denver, but I'm awake. Gee, I was going to sleep in clear to 4 AM, but it isn't happening. Have to be at the hospital by 5:30 AM, but it is only 10 minutes away. Surgery is at 7:30 MST. My angels are SO wonderful. I do believe we will remain friends long past WLS, they are "keepers". Rick and Michelle called me several times throughout the weekend and talked me through my last minute jitters. I have no fear about dying, few do, just am a big baby about pain. I will be pushing that pump, you betcha !! I have my list of questions for the anesthesiologist; this one is short, only 6 of them !!! Figured bending a lot won't be very comfortable for awhile, so I clipped all my toenails short tonight. I certainly hope my surgeon appreciates the fine job I did of shaving my legs, even the spot I usually miss, when he has me under those bright lights !!! It isn't Broadway, but here I come.... Next time you all hear from me, I will have joined the losing team. Thanks for all your prayers for me; may they please go from your lips to God's ears. Amen.

Lisa, best wishes for an uneventful journey to the "losing" side. Thanks for all the information that you so willingly share with all of us. I hope that your angels take as good care of you as you did of them!

Hey Lisa, it's about to be a reality. All your research and preparation will become experience. What a great time. You have so many of us supporting you and we are all thrilled that insurance approved you. Be patient with yourself for the first few weeks and remember to read your own website. I'm just so happy for you. I know you are ready and will come through this great.
