ANGEL REPORTING: I spoke with Lisa. She is suffering the post-op tortures of the damned this evening. The leak test was repeated three times before the doctors were satisfied and she is severely nauseated, even with medication. Those of us who are post-op can probably relate to these less than optimal feelings the first few hours and days after surgery. Surely the leak test, just once, was barely bearable. Three times does seem like a cruel joke. HOWEVER, she will be walking tonight with a trip or two around the nurse's station. Hopefully this will alleviate some of the gastro-intestinal distress that is making her so uncomfortable. Please continue to send her healing energy and officially welcome her to the Winner's Circle.

Hi... I'm just another of Lisa Dobson's many angels and wanted everyone to know that I just talked to her and she is doing great. Lisa is only having pain when she moves so is staying pretty still. Tonight they want her to sit up and if she is able she will walk a little. She sounded pretty good and her sense of humor is still intact. She is now a true loser. Rick

ANGEL REPORTING: Lisa is officially POST-OP and back in her room with an n-g tube. Surgery went well; approximately two hours. No complications. Her husband is at her side and very happy the surgery is behind her. Now let's get her past the leak test. She will remain hospitalized until Thursday. I will update again tomorrow.

I talked to Lisa's husband awhile ago, and she is out of surgery and did fine! Not sure how long her surgery was, but less than 3 hours I know! More to come later!

Keep Lisa in your thoughts today! She should be in the final stretch in OR right now. She has 2 other angels, so everyone should have a good idea how she is doing!! :)
