Cheryl has an infection in her incision and she is feeling a little miserable. She has had a fever for several days and has been in some pain and discomfort. Please send some cyber hugs her way!

Hello Cheryl - and CONGRATULATIONS, you did it!!!!! Hehehe - and you're prolly wondering why you "chose" to do this to yourself and it's hurtin' like a summinabeeyatch? : ) It really DOES get better, I promise! I had so many people telling me that after I got home from surgery and thankfully it's TRUE. My first few days home from the hospital were very hard but then it just got better, almost over night. Hang on to the belief that this feeling of discomfort will soon be a distant memory and you'll be enjoying the rewards of a healthier and happier you. Big ol' (soft) hugs to you - Lei

Hi Cheryl, Welcome home. I know you must be unconfortable and wondering if this is all worth it. Most people feel that way at first. Just remember you had major surgery, it takes time to adjust to the change. Save this email. I am sure I will need the same advice when my time comes!! Take your time and be patient, relax and rest, think happy thoughts. When you are feeling better, I want to tell you about my new experience with hypnosis. In case I haven't told you, my appointments have been scheduled and they don't end until June 25th!! I will do some gentle nagging to see if I can get these dates moved up. Email when you are up to it and let me know the whole truth nothing but the truth. Cathy

I just got an e-mail from Cheryl. She made it home yesterday. She is having a hard time getting comfy (which is understandable). I have told her that <i>"it will not be easy, but it will be worth it"....</i> she's wondering <b>WHEN</b> it will be "worth it"... LOL... I told her every day will get better and better.

I spoke to Cheryl's daughter today and she tells me that Cheryl is doing fine and hoping to be released from the hospital by the weekend. Cheryl is not up to speaking on the phone just yet... but that's to be expected.
