Georgetown Community Hospital (COE) Hospital

I have naever seen such caring and compassion nurses. My nurse Steve was the main reason my stay was so pleasant, He was there for me every minute, and really cared about me. I cannot say enough about this small hospital, whoever is the director, such knows their business. Best to all who are taking this journey, it is the best thing I have ever done for myself.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the family at Georgetown Community. The staff was so caring and attentive yet I was given my privacy. My husband and mom (of course!) were allowed to stay with me. I had a private room with a roll-away bed and a recliner for them. Visitors were welcome! I will be back at Georgetown for my "touch-ups" in a few weeks and looking forward to another visit!

I found Georgetown Hospital and it's staff to be exceptional with regards to personal care and compassion. All of the nurses I had were very caring and sensitive to my needs. Each time they saw me walking in the hallways, a word of encouragement was given. My nurse Lisa (in ICU) was a Godsend. She was very personable and was genuinely concerned about my wellbeing. I never had to wait for her and she was extremely compassionate. I remember asking her if I could remove my "inflatable stockings" for a few minutes because my legs were itching and she came in and removed them for me and then scratched my legs for me knowing I would have to strain to do it myself. The nurse anesthetist (Steve) was also very kind and immediately made me feel very comfortable about trusting him. All in all, I would say that if I ever had to stay in the hospital again, I would CHOOSE Georgetown Hospital over any other I've ever been in. They were GREAT!
