Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin Hospital

There was a chalkboard in the room and every shift change, the nurses, assistants and cleaners would come in and introduce themselves and write their names on the board so I could remember their names.
Even the food service people did the same. They ALL would ask how I was feeling, did I need anything....I was impressed that even the food staff and cleaners did the same.
I really felt pampered and cared about.

The hospital was very efficient, they knew exactly what they were doing. The care was great, the nursing staff very caring and attentive (the night nurse a little less so, but the aide on that shift more than made up for it). The only "problem" I had, which I hesitiate to even call a problem, was that there wasn't a room ready for me, so I was in recovery for a little extra time. However, I was comfortable, my pain was kept controlled, and the nurse taking care of me was wonderful and kept me informed, as well as keeping my family informed and eventually just brought them into recovery so they could see me.

hospital part was great. staff was very friendly. the only thing i have to complain about is the family center. they were very rude to my family that were waiting for me to get out of surgery. they did not explain things to them when they came down, they weren't very friendly to then. but over all everthing else about the hospital was excellent
