Alaska Regional Hospital Hospital

three main problems...(1) they put me on a BiPap that was functional, but not fully, (2)the bathroom was not sanatized or cleaned properly just mopped over, and (3) tossing me a blanket instead of opening and covering me up was rather un-professional....but i must also say i did not feel unsafe and the people themselves were very friendly.

I was left in the pre-surgery room and forgotton about until after my surgery was supposed to begin. Then they had to rush through the testing because the doctor was waiting. After surgery, I was left in a bed of urine for 8 hours, and was not given a shower during the whole time I was there. Calls to the nurse took a long time before a response. I was not even given a breathing exercise tube. No one asked how I was doing or even seemed to notice that I was a person. Other people have had good experiences with this hospital but my experience is not one that I would wish on anyone.
