I've experienced a very positive outcome with Dr. Dellinger. I went to the university's required seminar in late Spring 2011. From there I was scheduled an appt. with Dr .Dellinger. He wasn't the Dr. giving the seminar so I was a little worried. He was very informative and answered all our questions. I found him to be honest and frank. He told me exactly what I needed to do. I really liked the fact that the University of Washington all worked together as a team approach in providing the best possible care. They will schedule your appts all on the same day so that you don't have to make trip after trip. I saw Dr. Dellinger again right before surgery he eased our minds by answering our questions. I saw him after surgery and again at my 4 week post op check up. He did a fantastic job in my opinion. I have had no issues and I highly recommend him.

I havent seen Dr Dellinger yet. I got my call yesterday to set up my appointment to see him for the first time on Monday Dec 28th, 2009. I am so excited that I was able to get the appointment. Now I wait and pray that my insurance will cover it and that I can get the revision surgery soon and do well with it. I had my original gastric bypass surgery Dec 3,2002 in Chicago, Ill and did great with it but have the weight back on. It is time to lose it again.

I really like Dr. Dellinger, he is a very kind and compassionate man. His staff is great and always there to help you. He really emphasizes keeping your appointments and following up with your aftercare. I went to his seminar and he talked with me at lenght about the risks of the surgery. I had to meet with the psychiatrist and the nutritionist several times. I think that Dr. Dellinger was fantastic.

Dr. Patch is a fabulous surgeon and a kind man. Aftercare is well taken under consideration at the University of Washington.

I knew of him when I worked at Harborview Med center years ago. He had a wonderful reputation. After meeting him one on one, I felt that he exuded caring and competence. The office staff are all very nice and helpful. Their program is so popular however, that it has taken me from mid February of this year to a couple of weeks ago, to get worked up and get a date for surgery. However the surgery is for the end of January of 2009. I understand that the problem is mostly centered around the hospital itself not giving the surgical bariatric center enough OR time to accomidate all the people wanting surgery there. Aftercare is manditory, You must sign a contract to adhere to the schedule of visits after surgery, and for the rest of your life. I had done a lot of research, but they answered all my questions and addressed all the surgical risks.

The first time I met my Doctor I felt he was carring. I did not feel I was being looked down at because of my weight. The visits since have been just as nice my whole team is wonderful. When I asked why did he choose to do this type of surgery with all types of surgery he could choose, he told me \"He has seen a lot of sad people, he choose to be a bariatric surgeon because he wanted to make people happy.\" This really touched my heart. I really feel he cares about me. Aftercare is very important to my whole team I live 3 hours from the UW, Everyone has really tried to accomadate me by setting all my appointments on the same day or the next. I am not worried to have this surgery I feel I have a chance of dying if I stay this weight if something goes wrong at least I tried.rnDuring and after surgery I felt safe the whole time I was under docters care. Team was carring perfessional,
