I met Dr kendrick on the 6th of Feb. He was a very nice man, and v went through everything, including the different options, and what he thought would be best for me.
He was about a half hour late, but i guess that's normal for him. once he came in the room though he was very comforting.
He listened to my concerns.
He addressed the risks if the procedure.
I felt very comfortable with him!
He is very caring, a very positive person.
We did a lot of after care teaching.

When I first met Dr. Kendrick, he was very curtious and informative. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions without rushing me. He preforms only laproscopic RNY, which is excatly what I'm looking for. His one stipulation was that I meet with him once again about a week before surgery and if I had gained any weight, he would not do the surgery. This is the same stipulation that all physicians have at the Mayo Clinic. They're quite serious in making sure their patients are compliant with lifestyle changes and follow up care. The only concern I have is that he is new at performing laproscopic surgeries. But, beings that he's been trained at one of the greatest medical facilities in the world, I feel comfortable with him being competent.
