Michael L. Kendrick Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

Dr. Kendrick is a very nice and caring Surgeon. Lots of helpers each doing their own parts of the appointment. Dr. Kendrick made my husband and I feel very comfortable with proceding with the sugery. Dr. Kendrick was very clear and answered all questions we had about the surgery. Looking forward to seeing him again in 5 short days which is March 27th, 2013 SURGERY DAY!!!!

I was very pleased with Dr. Kendrick when I first met him. He was very clear with everything that pertains to the surgery. He was answering all the questions that I had. He also answered any questions my Mom and Sister-in-Law had. He seems like a wonderful doctor. He was very caring and did not make you feel like a low-life because you have to have surgery. I know I am in very good hands and am looking forward to my surgery.rnrnHis PA is a sweetheart. She is also very understanding and willing to answer any questions. She was also very clear in explaining everything that the surgery will entail. rnrnI would suggest seeing Dr. Kendrick for anyone who is thinking about having surgery done. He is an asset to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota!

Dr. Kendrick was completely supportive and understanding. He put my surgery off for a month because I had a month of weight gain. I was very upset, but in the end I have to say that it was the very best thing that could have happened. I was not ready, and for sure you need to have the right mind-set when you go into surgery or you are going to have a difficult time with the life-changing event that surgery is. I would do it again in a minute and with nobody but Dr. Kendrick. He is quite simply the best at what he does.

Dr . Kendrick and his staff are the best!!!!!! They took good care of me and they let me know that i had there attention the whole way threw. I rememeber going into surgery and just started to cry, the staff made me feel at ease. When Dr Kendrick as me if we were ready i had this feelin of ease, he is the Best i have to say that... rn The office staff is great also........ They have made my starting of my new life a success. My first impression of Dr. Kendrick was that he is very intelligent, and very good at what he does. His assistant and staff were sensational. They answered any questions I had without making me feel stupid. He and his assistant addressed all the risks of surgery, and I felt very confident that I had all the facts. So far in my journey, I am very happy with my choice of Dr. Kendrick as my surgeon.

He was very thorough. His assitant was amazingly beautiful, and nice to match. She handled most of the visits. He has a great bedside manner, and if you gain any weight before the surgery (during the waiting peroid) he'll cancel it. He wants to know if you are serious enough about it. Very thorough care from the Mayo Clinic, and excellentafter care.

He was the best! He took the time to do the procedure the best way for me. Any other Doctor would have taken one look through the scope at all the scar tissue and converted the procedure to an open. He realized that the best possible way for me to have this done was Lap. He took the time to weave his way through all the scar tissue to do it lap! My hats off to Dr. Kendrick.

Everything went very well with no immediate complications.

I did have some nausea and vomiting the 2nd week that caused me to be hospitalized over night.

Evidently I was dehydrated. THough I was very careful, this can happen to anyone so watch out!

He and assitant were very careful and made sure everything was okay.

3 wk and 3 month follow ups were thorough. I met with him personally at both which he tries to do with each patient.

I met Dr. Kendrick for the first time Aug. 2nd. He was very nice (cute too). His PA was also awesome. Answered all of my questions and even some I didn't even think to ask.

He was very informative on the second visit. My first visit with him was not so pleasant as he was short of time and didn't spend much time explaining things to me. His PA is very nice and helpful, open to phone calls and emails. My team of Drs. spoke highly of him. He did address the risks of surgery,
