Dr.Alvarez and his staff were completely amazing, from the time I arrived at Endobariatric everything was wonderful. The bedside manner of everyone was amazing. The hospital and the hotel portion of the hospital was very clean . Going to Mexico to have surgery was a very scary idea but Dr Alvarez and his team made the decision worth it. If you are thinking of having surgery I would 110% recommend Dr Alvarez.

With those hands of his, and marvelous staff, Dr. Alvarez is performing life-changing surgery! I was at 284lbs and getting heavier by the week by the end of Dec. 2022. Then I said..."NO MORE!" I was heading down the wrong path and just did not have the health to make a change for myself...I needed help. After much research, and blessing from my primary doctor, I chose Dr. Alvarez and Endohospital. THIS IS A TOP CLASS FACILITY WITH AN AMAZING SURGEON! The whole experience took but 3 days. A small investment towards a lifetime of better health. As I type these few words, on April 21 2023, I have already lost 52 pounds and I'm on my way to a desired 184lbs. I cannot but thank Dr. Alvarez and his staff for changing/saving my life. The rest...of course, I have to do....AND WILL!

I had the vertical sleeve gastrectomy on January 4, 2023 with Dr. Alvarez at Endohospital in Piedras Negras , Mexico. It was the best medical experience of my life. The care and attention from Dr. A and each and every staff member, from the nurses, to the patient coordinators, to the cafeteria staff, to the van drivers, to the other doctors, was unmatched. They all know how to make you feel important and valuable. Their customer service is top notch! The building was state of the art, beauticul, and so comfortable. It was as nice as any hotel I have ever stayed in, and that is saying a lot about a hospital. I would recommend Dr. A to anyone considering this procedure. The experience was wonderful, but the after effects of having made this decision are unbeatable. I considered having surgery with Dr. A since 2017, for almost 6 years! If I could go back, I would have not sat on my decision for so long. I would have done it as soon as I could have. Is it easy? No. Definitely not. Is it worth it? 100 times YES! Don't wait. Make the choice for you today and choose Dr. A. You will not regret it.

Dr.Alvarez and all of the staff from start to surgery and still now are so amazing! The endohospital is immaculate the staff is so friendly caring kind helpful beyond any expectations I had! My aunt came with me to help and she was treated like royalty as was I. My surgery went amazing no pain no discomfort and if I have or had any questions or concerns Dr.Alvarez and Rosie have been so amazingly helpful! I can't say enough great things about Dr.Alvarez and the most amazing experience of my life!. Thank you Dr.Alvarez you truly saved and gave me my life back I will be forever grateful! Excellent from start to finish! Dr A makes sure you are well taken care of! His patient care is outstanding, far better than the US! His nurses and facility put the rest to shame! I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of getting the sleeve!! You would regret not seeing him.

Not one ounce of regret! I really questioned my desire for the surgery mostly because of my age and being over 50 years old. However, the experience I had with Dr. A and his team has been unmatched, and as you can imagine with a host of health issues before, I’ve encountered many doctors. Don’t hesitate if your pondering on it, all you’ll say later is, “what the hell was I waiting for”?!! Literally, one of the best decisions I ever made in my life, next to accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour - seriously! I was unhealthy and unhappy for most of my life, but I am intent on making the rest of my life AMAZING, and Dr. A is responsible for a HUGE part of my journey! He ‘crafted’ my sleeve specifically for me and has STILL been here to answer any questions or concerns I may have - him and his team are to me, “THE A TEAM” - all that research you’re doing, ends here - you found him, now GO FOR IT, what are you waiting for?!?!?!?!

Dr. Alvarez and his team at the Endohospital are amazing. They make sure the entire process is easy from beginning to end. They took excellent care of me! The hospital is very clean and comfortable.

Wow what can I say, I would not ever use any other surgeon or facility than Dr Alvarez! My girlfriend and my niece went to him both have done amazing. In less than 3 months I have lost 49 lbs and over 30 inches. Went from a 22 to size 14. I haven’t even started the real weight loss period yet! Dr Alvarez and his staff were amazing. The facility is state of the art. My daughter went with me she is or was diabetic at 35. She has done equally amazing! We felt so comfortable from the start. He and his staff are so welcoming and put us all at ease from the start. There is no doubt he IS a master surgeon. None of us who had surgery there have had any complications. He is strict because he wants you to have a great experience and meet your goals. Lol like a good parent. He still checks up on us and we use his bariatric app religiously I can call or text anytime and get an answer quickly. Full access to him and his staff. You don’t get this in the states believe me! I had a Hiatial hernia pretty bad and he repaired it at no charge. You will not ever be sorry for using this amazing surgeon and you will never be sorry for making this decision to change your life!

Dr Alvarez gave me my life back in an easy, 30 minute surgery. His hospital, EndoBariatric, is easily the cleanest, most modern and incredible hospital I’ve ever experienced. The bilingual staff were kind and caring. They run the hospital like a well oiled machine - everything is done perfectly and the moves from hotel floor to hospital floor and back are done perfectly.

The Endospa experience was incredible too - highly recommend! I had very little pain the 24 hours post op. More discomfort than anything.

I followed his post op instructions to a T and I’ve had zero complications. I have lost 51 lbs so far and feel like a different woman! I’m a better Mom, Nana and ME! I look forward to loosing another 50ish lbs now!

Dr A is a great surgeon and a very nice person too! I can’t say enough good things about him and my experience at EndoBariatric!
