Guillermo Alvarez Bariatric Surgeon MD

Dr. Alvarez is a great Bariatric surgeon. I had a great experience with him being my Bariatric surgeon. Dr. A. and all his staff are all very professional and always treated me great and always available when I needed something. I totally recommend Dr. Alvarez, he is a great and very knowledgeable surgeon that goes above and beyond for his patients I’ve had a wonderful experience with my surgery.

If you were like me, you have probably already read countless reviews and research countless surgeons. To save your time I will say if you are considering a gastric sleeve don’t waste your time researching anymore, you have found your surgeon and facility - Dr. Alverez at Endobariatric.
I had my VSG done by Dr. Alvarez on June 7 of this year and I couldn’t be more happy. All of the pictures you see of the facility are accurate. I have never ever been to a medical clinic or hospital that was as clean and welcoming as Endobariatric.
I also have never received better medical care than I did, while under the care of Dr. Alvarez and his staff. I never had to wait when I needed something either before or after surgery, there was always someone there to take care of me.
As for Dr. Alvarez, he is the rare exception of a surgeon, who is approachable, caring, compassionate, yet extremely extremely skilled at what he does.
After surgery I had no idea how much my life and outlook would improve once the weight came off. I am just three months out from surgery and can’t believe my progress so far. I have had no side effects from the surgery. Anything like acid reflux nothing. Also, my incisions were teeny teeny tiny, much smaller than I was expecting. I suspect once the scars heal, they will hardly be noticeable.
This is a lengthy review, but I just can’t say enough good things about Dr. A. Trust me, if you’re contemplating a gastric sleeve, just book your appointment, you won’t regret it.

I am not sure if there are enough words to express how grateful and amazing Dr. Alvarez and his team are. From the time you step into the Endo Hospital you are treated like family. I am only three months out and down 55 pounds. I work in healthcare and I share my story everyday and recommend Dr. Alvarez to everyone.
I knew with my family history I had to change my way of living and Dr. A helped me do that. I tell all of my patient's that I would do it all over again. He is hands down a master surgeon.
If you are considering the bariatric surgery, just go for it and pick Dr. Alvarez as your surgeon because I promise you there is no one else that can do what he does.

Dr.A has changed my life and I will be forever grateful to him, his amazing staff and superb facility. I know it’s a very important decision, but as someone who has had bariatric surgery I recommended Dr.A one hundred percent. I know two people who had surgeries with him and that’s the reason I went with him. The facility is super clean, comfortable and safe. I left my house on Tuesday morning, had my surgery Wednesday morning, recuperated and had the most amazing post op massage on Thursday and was safely back home by Friday afternoon. Dr.A and his team are truly amazing, always there to answer any questions and concerns. I am so happy, and it has been the best decision of my life. Life changing.

Dr. A is fantastic. He shows genuine interest and cares for his patients. The hospital is amazing and his staff is just phenomenal. My surgical experience was wonderful from check in to discharge. I have no regrets with a total weight loss of 55 pounds to date, just 3 months post surgery. I feel so much better physically and emotionally. Dr. Alvarez was amazing. I had been watching and keeping up with reviews for quite some time before I took the plunge and scheduled my surgery at the beginning of March of this year.

So many reviews I read, all said the same thing "the only thing they regretted was not doing it sooner." Sounded so cliche but now I'm a part of that club and I TOTALLY GET IT.
