So being I am over weight and numerous failed weight loss attempts with
high blood pressure,sleep apnoea and heading into the worsts shape I’ve ever been in , I realized I had to make a drastic change if I wanted to live a beneficial life for my family. So with Dr Baranov’s team and support we did it ! Now it’s only been a week since my surgery I already feel better than I have in years and I’m confident that it’s going to get better every day for the rest of my life. I am 26 years old and got the gastric bypass surgery on 9/4/2018. Dr. Baranov is very good at explaining the procedure, life-style changes, and expected goals. He is a surgeon who leaves no room for error. He makes sure that all my questions are answered and explains them in a very understandable manner. I was personally visited by Dr. Baranov several times while recovering to check up on things and never felt rushed while doing so. He encourages his patients to attend the monthly support groups and makes it clear that you will be seeing him every year for the rest of your life to make sure you don't have any nutritional deficits. He calls you himself after surgery, whether it be a weekend of holiday, to make sure all is well. I would choose Dr. Baranov any day of the week to perform my surgery and follow up!

My name is Taylor Jenkins and i recently gad the gastric sleeve preformed by Dr. B , his team at Saratoga Hospital are wonderful I couldn’t have asked for a better team. Dr.Baranov is strict but in a way that will save your life. I am 27 and have a paralyzed diaphragm and having this surgery gives ne a new life. I am an RN who has in the past taken care of bariatric patients. I have worked with multiple bariatric surgeons in the past but I would recommend Dr. Baranov over every single one. His number and success rate speak for their self but he personally is invested in every single case and personally came to see me in the middle of the night when I was not feeling well. Dr. Baranov is the best surgeon. I had my RNY surgery February 8, 2017 and I am extremely happy that Dr. Baranov gave me this amazing tool. Dr. Baranov gave me my life back.
