First impression of Dr. Quigley was that he is a very busy man, he does all types of surgeries not just gastric bypass. My first appointment was missed because he had an emergency surgery but his staff rescheduled one right away. I was disappointed and upset but what can you do.
My first meeting with Dr. Quigley finally happened May 31st. I was very nervous but was put at ease immediately when he came in the room. He was very professional and went over everything with me in detail. I left feeling like I was in very competent hands.
The staff at Dr. Quigley's office and while I was a patient at Trinity in Minot, ND were great, Dr. Quigley and Deb (his nurse) came to see me every day and the nurses and aides in the hospital were there whenever I needed them (there was one nurse that I could have screamed at but oh well) nobody's perfect!
I guess it is kind of hard to write about someone else. I mean what do you say about someone who is helping you live your life again. I do know that I've been to other Dr.'s before and none of them addressed my obesity issue, they just would say you need to go on a diet, none of them really talked to me like I was normal, they all kind of made me feel "small" because of my weight problem, and none of them made me feel comfortable in their presence. Dr. Quigley did all of that and I thank God (and this website) everyday for helping me find him.
I just found out from Dr. Howell's office that there is a Dr here in Monot named Dr. Quigley thru Trinty Medical center. I have an appointment on 4-11-00 to meet him. as of 04/24/00 I have meet Dr Quigley and his staff and they are wounderful. He was very kind and undersatanding. They are very helpful and I am finding no problems with help getting all my paperwork in line to submit to the insurance co. Oh my first visit he explain in detail exactly what would happen and How long I would be the hospital and all the dangers. He gave me a list of Insurance requirements and told me to gather all my paperwork from the past five years and his staff would do the rest. I would recommend him to anyone.
