My weight loss has slowed way down but happy I'm still losing. I have only 17 pounds to go to get to my goal.  I now wearing a size 8 Jeans and skirt. That 7 pant sizes. My top size went from 3X to a large.( still waiting for the boob to get smaller - my have to have a boob reduction....)  I also dropped 2 shoe sizes. I didn't think that would happen.  I feel great. 

It's hard to believe that I down 78 pounds. I love that my clothes are not tight and the new cloths are not from the large women department. However I am still drawn to that department as I still think I'm still that size.  First time I put on size 12 dress I couldn't believe it was me.  I haven't worn a dress in years.  I had to have foot surgery in June so I haven't been able to work out. but the boot came off last Friday and I have to tennis shoes for the next few weeks. But I hope to be back and running soon. Although I still walking with a limp.

I have now dropped 61 pounds. We just went home to see family last week and everyone was amazed at how I look now. I bought a pair of skinny jeans for the trip and I really like how I looked in the mirror. Had to do a double take to make sure it was me I was looking at.  I am so happy with my weight loss. When visiting my Mom I was able to wear her cloths. I can't remember the last time I was able to do that.  I have started using products from a company called Advocare, and feel they are helping me with my core nutrition and weight loss. I am soooo happy to be down 50 pounds and 32 inches. My clothes are fitting better. Plus I went from a 22/24 to a 14/16. IN 3  MONTHS....That to me is amazing. Now when my husband gives me a hug his arms go all the way around me.  He likes that. We bought a Wii fit and what a fun way to get in exercise. I still have a problem not eating the one bit  when you know you overdid it and your sick fo the next hour or two. But I guess it a learning thing.  But I would do the surgery again in a heart beat. Can't wait to see where I'll be a month from now.

It seem like the last week my weight loss has really slowed down.  9 days and I have only dropped 3.5 pounds. I know it still a loss but it seem like nothing. I been walking almost everyday. But I still discouraged. I have dropped a total of  43.5 lbs since my surgery. I went from a pants size 22/20 to a 18/16. Tops 22/24 to a 18/16. So I should be happy. But we are going to visit Family at the in of April and I was hoping I would be under 200.  That 6 weeks away. I still have time.....

I have lost a total of 27 pounds. I doing really well since I haven't  returned anything I've been eating so fare. However if I eat something that disagrees with me I get really bad stomach cramps and that's no fun.  It seems so strange that I can only eat such small portion and now what I do eat it's healthy food.  But sometime I feel I am doing something wrong with only losing 5 lbs the last two weeks.  I guess I need patient.  I tried out a friends wii fit the other day. What a kick.  I saving up for one. What a fun way to burn calories.

The date of my post op, the hospital call me  to tell me that the insurance sent them a letter that the surgery was not on my insurance plan. So the day before the surgery I spent the whole afternoon on the phone with the insurance company , the hospital and  with my personal department at work to find out is our plan changed eff 01/01/09.  The V P of personal called and said that she had a email reply from the insurance company rep that Bariatric surgery is on our company plan and since I had the pre-approval letter it was okay to go forward with the surgery.  What a roller coaster of emotions.

Day of surgery went off without a hitch. I was Dr. Stewart's second surgery. After the day before I was glad to be there so there was very little anxiety.  When I woke up I was up and walking around 7 PM. I had no problems. Went home two days after Surgery. The nurses at the hospital were very helpful and took super good care of me. 

I haven't had any problems since my surgery.  My side is sore at the incision site.  Having trouble getting in all the water, but still happy with my decision to have the surgery.

On 12/22/08 I decided to call the insurance company to see if I could get the bottom of why it was taking so long to get an answer. I found out that because of the holiday the person who had my case was on vacation. I call my doctors office and they told they found out the same and had the name of the person who was handling her cases. I called that number and left  a message that I had been waiting for an answer for 4 weeks. That person called me back the next day 12/23/08 and when I spoke to that person and explained that it had been 4 weeks since my paper work was submitted and if he could find out something for me.  He said that he would find out what the hold up was and would call me back before the end of the day.  I got back from lunch and I got his return call and was told I was approved. I told him that he had just made my Christmas. 

I called my doctor as soon as I heard the news and got my surgery scheduled. It's scheduled for 01/07/09 I am so excited. And so glad I decided to call the insurance company. I was also surprised that the gentlemen I spoke to was as helpful as he was. Which proved you do get more with honey.

I called my Doctor's office today to see if they heard any thing. The insurance company Doctor has not looked as my file.  They had it for 3 weeks. The is so aggravating.  I have to thing positive... It's hard.  Can't believe I can't find any thing out.
