WENDY~~ Sorry to hear that your co-workers didn't acknowledge your last day at work before WLS.... maybe they just didn't know what to say.... maybe they lost track of the days and didn't remember that it was your last day.... I hope that they weren't just being insensative and unkind.

Best of luck to you, a Husker Fan, at least I am assuming you are. I wish you the best. I was born and raised in Omaha and when I noticed your from Big O I thought I would say hello. I moved to Texas 12 years ago, however all of my family is still there. I graduated High School from Ralston in 85. I haven't been home in over 2 years, but my parents and sister come here at least once a year. I plan on coming home next summer. My family is coming for turkey day, so I can't wait. My surgery is 12-4-02, so we are only a month apart. Keep in touch Jeanette Brun

You will love your new life, you will be able to do so many new things again. May the power of speedy healing be with you. Welcome to the losing side. Just remember others have been on the road before you, you are not alone and there will be others after you who will seek the same road as you, and you will be there to help them along
