I had DS in Ocean Springs on November 13, 2001. Lost weight slowly but it was a good thing. I went from a size 24 to a size 10. Weight was 265 and then 145, bout 120 pounds. YEAH!!!! Anyway, I have enjoyed every minute of my new body and life. Have had some ups and downs with personal life, but am trying to get on track. My Dr. was so wonderful. I had a wonderful support group that turned out to be like a family to me. Some have moved on, but some are my best friends. We keep in touch and try to have dinner every once in a while.
I have a wonderful husband and family who supported me thru this. I am so lucky to have them.
