In October 2001 I was 5'7 and 280 pounds. Today, July 2007, nearly six years after surgery, I am at 144 pounds and wear a size 6. Life has changed in more ways than I have time to tell here but surgery was the absolute best choice for me and I don't regret a minute of it!
