MMC Bariatric Nutritionist Appointment 2

Went to my Nutritionist appointment today... I have lost 11 lbs from my August appointment... I got the run down of all the nutrition info... My next appointment is in 2 weeks...

Had my first appoinment at the MMC Bariatric Center, met with a social worker and have a Nutritionist appointment on Sept.3...
Things are moving forward and I am starting to get excited about the whole process...

My wife called my PCP to make sure they sent the referral in and to our surprise MMC had already sent a packet to them and my PCP had it ready to go out. So it would appear that progress is being made... can't complain about that.
I have been keeping up with my journal so when they ask what I have been doing I can just hand it over.

My wife and I went to the patient info session last night.
Today, called the insurance companies to find out who covered what and then saw my PCP. She will be sending in my referral to the bariatric surgery group. So at this point I will be waiting to hear back from them. I also setup a journal in Google Docs so I can keep track of my weight, what I eat / drink, activities, and doctor visits. (The reason Google Docs, I will have access to it anywhere there is a internet connection, so I have no excuse in not writing in it.)
If you are thinking I seem to be moving too fast with this, let me say that I have been looking at this option for many years and this is not a decision I made overnight.
