I got my surgery date, 1/31/13

I started my clear liquid diet  on 1/17

Things have been difficult but getting through it. I had my hospital teaching on 1/25 and some lab work.

I am getting super excited but at the same time have been a little concerned that something will occur and my surgery will be canceled.

Either way I am counting down the days, so ready for the new chapter of my life to start.

Today was my consultation everything went well minus I decided instead of the Lapband I am going to have the VGS done. Got my weight done and have not been on a scale in for ever and now I know why I am 424.7 lbs, holy I can not believe I let myself get to the extreme that I am at now.

They are requesting the last 3 years of my medical records and then I go in for my psych eval on Oct 4.

All this is self pay as I do not have insurance that will cover this surgey.



Now just waiting to move on to the next step....wish me luck!!!
