I was so nervous/upset when insurance requested additional information for approval. I email them everyday and to my suprise today there was an email, "information has been received and reviewed procedure is approved, letters will be mailed shortly"!  I almost had a heart attack right there....I am so ready and excited.

Insurance has requested additional information on me. I was fairly confident about my approval and now I am really worried. I had a Lap-Band in 2004, obviously like alot of people with a band I am still fat, actually more fat than before.  Its very frustrating trying to get this all done. Once you have decided to make the big change and commit yourself you have to prove to everyone else that you are ready and can do it. The set-backs are very unnerving. Is it ever going to happen for me.

As of 4/15 my paperwork has been submitted to the insurance company, I pray all goes well...

I turned in all of my paperwork 2/20/08, I thought. Now I have been contacted about getting my sleep study which will be done this evening. This is really a long process and I know I am impatient. Like everyone else once you decide to have surgery you are ready and the sooner the better,  I would think as long as you meet all the stated requirements you can have the surgery, not one more of this, what about that. Oh well, we will see.  Its very hard not to get discouraged.
