I have a date, couldn't post it the normal way for some reason, but anyway it's December 9th. I want to thank all who wished me well. God Bless you all, if it were not for the AMOS Family I would not have had the courage to have this surgery. You all are a God send. It is so good to know that there are so many in the world that know the hurt and pain that you feel being Obese. By the way i'm still hoping for an Angel also is there anyone that had their surgery at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL. That's where mine is going to be. Thank you all again.

My very best wishes to you for a safe and successful surgery and recovery. May all of your sweetest dreams come true. My husband and I both had open rny's in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs!! YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!

I attended the 2 classes (Educational Class & Pre Op Support group)required before surgeon consult on 10/21/02. It was great and made me want the surgery even more. I now have my Consult on 11/12/02 can't wait. My surgeon is Dr. Rossi at the Peoria Surgical Group. I need to get my questions together, if anyone has any info on this Doctor please leave it here or email me. I'm half way there now all I have left to do is Consult, Ins approval and then the surgery. Had my Psych eval done in September. Yes, I'm still neverous about all of this and there are many people that say you can do it all by yourself. You just need to exercise more and eat right. It really irritates me when I'm told that. I mean do people actually think we want to go through severe pain just to lose weight...Anyway, I'm going to need an Angel soon I hope, one that can put up with a 39 yr old Chicken/Cry baby (smile) I'm not really that bad I don't think lol. It would be great hearing from anyone in the area that has had Surgery at OSF St. Francis, Peoria, IL. God Bless
