Update: December 22/06
Dec 21, 2006
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.
Just a quick update note. Currently I have lost a total of 173 lbs. I weigh 179 lbs and I have only about 11 lbs to go to achieve BMI of 25. Alot of co-workers, friends etc. are wondering when I am going to stop since it is a drastic weight loss since March 6th of this year.
All is going well dietary wise but still not eating much in the way of meat...by choice. No problems with the chocolates, cookies and other sweets now. Not even tempted. I do however bake cookies for our kids and next door neighbours. Nothing beats the aroma of freshly baked shortbread cookies!
I resumed playing ice hockey in October (after a 16 year break). It feels great to be out there once again even though my pals make alot of wisecracks about "antique" equipment that I'm using.
I wouldn't hesitate to have the RNY. It's really helped me to lose the weight and become fit. Now I'm living life again instead of being a spectator!
I wish everyone well. Brian
