While checking my e-mail this morning, I came across a note wishing me a happy anniversary.  Wow! Five years! Every day is still brand new for me. Regardless of the ups and downs, I am still enjoying life.

I had a 51st birthday on the 14th of this month also, but the only thing I thought about was the birthday gift I gave to myself. That was the surgery that I had on the 19th.

God Bless the up and coming surgery dates, Happy Anniversary to those who have your surgery anniversary, and remember that our happiness starts with ourselves. Take good care of you first and let others fall under that.
