Hi - I'm Anne-Marie. I've struggled with my weight since early teens. I'm 5/1, and my weight has gone from 225 to 155 and back again a number of times. I just made the weight requirement (what irony) of 211 to be approved for the surgery. I'm 50 years old with two adult children, a terrific "significant other" that I've been with for 15 years. He is completely supportive of my having the surgery -- the kids not so much. I also have Rocky, my 3/4 ShihTzu 1/4 pug mix dog, who is my personal trainer -- he gets me out walking every day. My big date is less than a week away and I am both thrilled & terrified!
