Here is the short version of my story. My whole life has been spent overwheight, ranging from a little to a lot. As a kid I was active but still overweight, having grandma's house stocked with Little Debbie's didn't help. As a teen, still overweight and active in sports. I was never the best or the fastest, but I still stayed active. In college I dropped the sports and gained more weight. After college I joined the Peace Corps, hiking around Kenya for two years assisted me in loosing over 70lbs, putting me at the skinniest I have ever been. Once I returned to the US I gained it all back and then some. Longing for that feeling of being 70lbs lighter again, and wanting to do something before I get any of those weight-related health problems, I have decided to have gastric bypass.
