Rebecca, My icompany is based in St. louis Mo, with UHC. The letter they have sent to me advised the policy we have excluded the procedure. Employer advised we could appeal if we had medical proof it is nessassary. Can you lend any insight having knowledge of UHC? Thanks very much, Mike

Oct 3, 2004 Happy 2nd anniversary, hun. You have come a long way to find yourself where you are. You are extremely beautiful...today...just as you were the day before the surgery. The only thing that has changed about you is your actual weight. The rest of you is as beautiful as the day I met you....in ways you will never let yourself fully understand. I am so very proud of you. You have been very strong through all of your trials and tribulations. You show a fortitude that I haven't seen in any other woman I've ever met. Rebecca, I wish you all kinds of luck on your surgery. Hopefully you will start feeling better soon, I'm in the same boat as you, I have surgery on 10/3 to see if they can diagnose my back and abdominal pain. I'm praying for you! God bless!

Rebecca, I'm so thrilled they finally found the problem, because now you can finally get treatment. I pray and hope that you start feeling better quickly, and pretty soon you won't regret having this surgery. Good luck and god bless!!!

I just wanted to offer a word of sympathy. Sometimes just knowing others commiserate with you is a help. Best of luck with your PCP and I'm really glad you have an understanding one to step in and take care of you! Best of luck!

Rebecca- Congratulations! You should be so proud of yourself for taking control of your health and your weight. Even with the challenges that come from this new way of life...I have zero regrets! Enjoy those little things...they are the stuff life is made of and YELL LIKE A COUNTRY GIRL at the big ones...cause they are just dang fun! (Open RNY 5-25-01 296/165--14 pounds to goal)
