ANGEL REPORT*~*~*~*~I saw David last night and he is doing well. He did have an infection, but it is subcutaneous, (just under the skin), therefore it is not deep nor in his blood stream. They caught it early. The doctor removed a few staples and allowed the area to drain and then packed it with gauze. David said he was feeling SO much better after the doctor did this. He was admitted to Vanderbilt and is expecting to go home on Monday or Tuesday..... Whew!!!!!! Lightening "Angel" Bug :o)

ANGEL REPORT..... I just received this in my email.... I am on my way to Nashville... Hi, this is Cathy, Dave's friend. Dave is on his way back to Vandebilt. His mother was not really clear as to what is wrong. Scott talked to Dave late last night and said that there was some fluid leaking from his incision and it had a bad odor to it. His mom told me just now that she had taken him to the emergency room at about 6:30 this morning because he was dreaming and she couldn't get him awake. She said he did come out of it long enough to tell her to call me. It doesn't sound good and there is not much more I can tell you right now. She was about 50 miles outside of Nashville. She said she would call me as soon as she heard anything. Please pray for Dave. If you have known Dave for as long as I have then you know what a special guy he is. If you haven't then you deserve the chance to love him as much as I do and he deserves the chance to have a normal life. Please pray. That was his request when he asked his mom to call me. ~*~ Please pray for Ottimus!!!!!!!!!! Lightening Bug

Ottimus is scheduled to be released from the hospital today!!!!!!!! He was given liquids yesterday and was told that he would be going home. He has done well. He did have the problem with becoming dehydrated and had to undergo a leak test to rule out any other problems, which he had none. SO....congratulations David, you are on your way to a healthier and happier life. Give yourself time to heal and recover, you will do just fine!!!!! Lightening "Angel" Bug :o)
