I do not get on here enough - Alot has changed in since I last posted.
As of yesterday I am 7 weeks pregnant. I had a miscarriage in Oct 2008 so needless to say I am a little leery about this one so far. I was 8 weeks along (they think) when it happened.
I go for my first ultrasound on April 14th, I think I then will believe this is all really happening. I will try to post the pictures when I get them.
I guess I will head over the post-op preggers board to see what info everyone has for me over there.

Since my WLS surgery on January 29th I have lost 170 pounds. (230# since June of 2007)
I am not saying my progress has been easy. I have had a few bumps along the way. I had a miscarriage in Oct, they figured I was about 8 weeks along. I only knew I was pregnant for about a week when it happened. It was very hard for me and my hubby as we really want to have kids. But I firmly believe that I was being sent a wake-up call. I was not following "the rules". I had gotten out of the habit of taken my vitamins and was not getting the proper amount of protein I needed, and was not taking in enough water. I was exercising and still losing weight but was not doing it in a healthy manner.
I set a goal for my self at my last Dr. Appt to be under 300# by my next Dr. appt on January 8th in Lenexa. I am sure I will make it as I only have about 15 pounds to go. Currently, I am losing about 3 to 5 pounds a week. I just need to make sure I am still exercising
even during this busy holiday season. Well I think that is enough for now. I do not know when I will get back on here again. As my busy season is fast approaching. I know I have said it before but I will TRY to do better about updating.

Had my 6 month check up on July 31st. Everything is going really well. Dr K said I am right on target. I guess my 6 month goal was 128# not 124#. I came in @ 363 pounds, just 4 pounds shy. I am doing really well, in fact now I just have to see her every 2 months, not every month. Well I will try to get on here and update more often but I have been extremely busy @ work and do not even want to look at a computer when I get done at the end of the day.
BTW... Clothes shopping has become a favorite thing for me to do. About every 45 days I have to replace my wardrobe. It is sooo awesome to be able to go into Wal-Mart, Target, etc and actually be able to buy things that actually fit me. I wore a size 6X shirt and pants to the hospital the day of my surgery, today I am wearing a 3X outfit. I even bought a pair of heels (have not got the courage to wear them yet - but I will)
My next goal I have set for myself is when I get down to 350# I am going to go buy myself a bike and start riding it. I was @ 358# this morning so I should have one soon. (If I can stop spending money on clothes that is!

Everything is going really well. Dr K said my 6 month weight-loss goal that she has calculated is 124#. When I was there I was down 82 pounds, so she is pretty sure I will beat that goal way ahead of schedule. I am now at 90.6 pounds lost so I am well on my way. I set another little goal for myself I want to be down to 387 by 5/29. That day will be 4 months post-op. Well I hope everyone has a great May.

So sorry it has been a long time being on here. I work in taxes and needless to say I have been quite busy with all that the past couple of months.
On March 28th, I had my 2 month follow-up visit. Officially I was at 422 pounds. YEA!!
I just scheduled my 3 month visit for May 1st; my goal is to be under 400. This morning my scale said I was at 409 pounds, so it is possible.
Something I have noticed is play with 5 pounds for about a week. For example this week I have weighed as low as 406 all the way up to 411. Then it is just like okay we are ready to leave and go play with the next 5 pounds. It is so weird!!
I am getting better about taking my vitamins and getting my protein in. My best friend keeps on top of me quite well. In fact we are now doing a program where we are filling out a spreadsheet daily and we have to pay a penalty if we have not met our expectations for the day.
At the beginning of March I joined the YMCA and I go to water aerobics twice a week, I highly recommend these classes to anyone who is just getting back into exercising. Find a buddy and GO!! My weekly goal is 3 hours of exercise. I do 2 of those hours in the class I make the other hour up walking.
I am starting to really notice my weight loss! It is in the little things, like being able to comfortably sit in a booth at a restaurant, sitting in a chair that has arms or being able to but a shirt at Wal-mart instead of Catherine’s. I am going to have to be careful though I think I might have a shopping addiction forming! All my clothes are getting too big and I seem to find myself buying a new outfit every week.
Well that is about it for now. I will try to get out here more often now that things have slowed down from tax season. BYE!
First Day back at work! 21 Days Post-Op!

, when you see someone everyday it can be hard to tell! I thought getting back to work I would get on a better schedule, that did not work out so well yesterday. But today I will try hard to get all my protien in. I started early this morning with a 16oz bottle of milk (16g), here in about 20 mins I will have my b-fast 1/2 c cottage cheese with a tbsp of tuna. (approx 18g). So I have a good start on it. Yeah me!
I have to go back and see Dr. K on Thursday tho, one of my incensions looks infected and when I called her to ask what I should do she wants to see me. So to Lenexa I go.

I will update my wieght chart with what I weigh up there when I get back. I know there is a differance between my scale and hers.

Right now I am on childrens chewables for my vitamans and Tums smoothies for my calcium and Slow Fe for iron. Another issue I need to get better on is my protein intake, I have to get that in. I am trying, lots of adjusting to do still. Plan to go back to work on 2/18 so I think getting into a normal pattern that should help. So long for now i will try to do better at updating. 
As of this morning I am down to 438# - not too shabby!

It is 8:25 am and need to be @ the hospital in an hour and 35 minues. I am excited and scared. Bowel prep last night was for the birds.
Did not get started till late and so it kept me up really late. Oh well it will all be worth it. I started my 10 day diet at 480#, yesterday at home I weighed 461# but want to update weight chart with my weight @ the hospital this morning. I will hopefully be able to update in a couple of days as i am spending the night in the hospital tonight. Thank you for all the comments of support. I am glad you all are keeping my spot saved on the losing bench.
