Pat, I want to wish you the best for your surgery. I too was calm and my husband was a basket case. After I got to a room and he saw that I was fine, he was OK. In fact he sat and ate by my bed. It didn't bother me, I never wanted him to change his habits because of me. Just remember the best is yet to come. Love and prayers to both of you.
