Hi Joni, You have given my a lot of encouragement. Wow--63 lbs behind you. You certainly are doing great. It must be hard on you with your being alone so much. Sometime time can me our enemy as well as our friend. Being overweight does restrict us and limits our ability to get out and do things and meet people. Obesityhelp.com has been a life saver for me, I don't often post but I read a lot and get unbelievable support from others. My surgery isn't until October 18th and I'm so nervous it's a wonder I've got a nail left on my fingers. The waiting is so hard but people like you give me support even when they don't realize it. Hang in there Joni and keep your chin up because there is a lot of us out here that really do care. God Bless.

Hi Joni, Just wanted to stop and say WAY TO GO! You are doing GREAT! I have mostly been a lurker but know how important it is to get that MUCH deserved praise. Keep up the good work and know that you have alot of friends on this site, just some may be shy "like me". LOL. Still working on my self esteem. Have a GREAT week :-}

Joni Congratulations!!!Thats fantastic. Your not the only lonely fat person out there. My family all live out of state. My children are grown, one married and one about to get married and one single. But they all live far from me. My brother lives 100 miles from the hospital but he's going to drop me off and pick me up three days later. Nobody will be there at the hospital with me. I hate it. Well, this was suppose to be for you, telling you how great your doing. Sorry about that. Good luck to you. My surgery is Monday the 9th, say a prayer for me, please. Patricia Craden

Joni, It's so good to hear from Ava that you are doing good. I'm sooo happy for you. Did you gets those lungs working better - obviously you did. Let me know about that because I'm pre-op and I worry about the lungs since I've had pneumonia and bronchitis pretty bad in the past. I hope you continue to improve and will be going home and be back on the board soon. God speed.
