Day 5 after surgery

I had gastric bypass surgery......I had gastric bypass surgery! Thoses were my thoughts as I woke up about four hours after I remember seeing someone before surgery. I can already tell that a miracle has occurred, food is just not interesting and I am healing well, no complications. The hospital stay was a comedy routine, oh they were very professional and helpful but I have never spent four more uncomfortable days. The beds were bad, the chairs were torture and my roomates........WOW! Even my nurse wanted to find the largest vein and put herself out of her misery. Home now.....yeah comfort! I am really tired but taking care of myself ok, I remember having c-sections and it takes a while to get back to you usual self. I am going to try to journal in here frequently so that others can check out the progress. It is important that we encourge each other. God Bless you all!
