I just wanted to wish you all the luck in the world on your surgery. I will also be praying for you a safe and speedy recovery. I had surgery on May 15th and it is the most wonderful thing I have ever done for myself! I am sure you will think so too when it is all said and done! God Bless you!

Mary, I have enjoy visiting with you through emails. I know you will do just fine before, during and after surgery. Just keep a positive attitude and keep thinking of all the things that you will be able to do that you haven't done in such a very long time. Hugs!!! Mary Ann....I know you are going to do great with this surgery... You have alot of friends and family that love and pray for you...including me! MaryAnn...I can relate to you, your fears, and your strengths. I am approaching 50 very rapidly, was advised by my PCP to have this surgery 9 months ago, and was told I would be totally disabled by the time I would be 55 years old. Very scary for me not to do the surgery, very scary for me to do it (I am a wimp), however, I have to think of myself because I love myself, and do what is right. So good luck with your surgery, I will have mine on July 10, 2001. Irene

Mary Ann, I too am 50 plus and really anxious to have this surgery. I'm still waiting on a first response from my insurance. Sounds like you are well on the way so be brave and just imagine how healthy you will feel in just a few months. I will certainly keep you in my thoughts and hope to be able to follow your progress.
