Hey Michelle.....I am also very glad we met last fri. And that we have the same surgery date. I know that we will be good support for each other as we step on over to the losing side. Michelle - I saw your posts about those guys making rude remarks and it made me sad. We have ALL had the same thing happen to us in some way or another - people are so cruel and prejudice when it comes to overweight people. I have decided that I will always treat everyone, but especially heavy people, with respect, kindness and dignity. I will look everyone in the eye and smile. I will NOT treat people the way that I've been treated and I will do my best to enlighten others to get them to treat the obese better. I know I won't change the world, but even if I can change just one person, it will be worth it. Take care and know that you have a lot of support here at AMOS.

Michelle, I just wanted to drop by and wish you luck with your upcoming surgery. I am having surgery Aug 1 and I know you are excited and nervous at the same time. I hope you have a sucessful surgery and quick recovery. Good Luck

Dont let the ignorance of others get you down!!! I couldnt even begin to count the number of times that has happened to me. Some people are just insensitive. Just keep looking forward and soon enough, happiness is all you will know. Good luck
