 Hello everyone, I hope you all are well. I have had to cancel my last two fill appointments, but I finally made it this week,
only to find out that my stomach opening is almost completly swollen shut and my pouch is distended. The nurse said the
only way to remedy the problem is to remove all the fluid out of my band and go on liquids only for two weeks. I have been
having problems with my kidneys lately which she said is probably what caused the inflamation, but my labs for my kidneys
came back good this week. I tried to eat pizza about two weeks ago and threw up. I didn't go on liquids for two days like
I'm supposed to and maybe that started it. Who knows. Anyway this morning when I woke up I felt funny and not long
after was throwing up really hard. I just hope I didn't slip my band. I can't wait for the two weeks to pass so I can see
everything under flouroscopy and see how it is doing. I will post again after that.

 well, I have kidney stones, When I went to the dr., they did labs and said I had kidney stones and that there is blood in my urine.
Then a few days later, they called and said that my kidneys are not breaking down protein and that I have to see a
nephrologist. Sounds like a dead people dr., but I guess it's a kidney specialist. I'll let you know what I find out. I have been 
taking pepcid once a day since my surgery, and I confess I drink a latte every morning and even some times in the evening
I'll make one at home, so I know I have been getting a lot of dairy but I didn't think it would be enough to cause kidney 
problems. Anyway, they haven't said that is what it is yet, but it's the only thing I can think of. I am losing weight pretty
good right now, so that's great. I'll update after the dr. appointment. 

 Well, I tried to get in for a fill right after Christmas, but we had lots of snow and I had to wait a week and a half. I had to take my daughter to Seattle for a Dr.'s appointment the same day, but on the way home they closed all freeways and roads going
my way. So, we had to stay in a hotel for two nights waiting for roads to reopen and I missed two days of work. The nurse 
who did my fill, gave me .2 cc's  and I asked her for one more so she did it. Even though I have a ton of restriction, all I can
think about this week is food and that I just want to be eating all the time. The last two fills I had, I waited too long, so I have
ended up gaining half the weight back that I lost while I had restriction before I get in for my next fill. This time I went ahead
and pre booked my next one in 5 weeks. As it gets closer, I can either make it sooner or move it out a ways if I need to.
Anyway, I hope I can get my brain off food here in the near future. It is driving me nuts, and I can't figure out why I am doing this.

 well, I had my sixth fill about 5 weeks ago, and boy did I have restriction. Now I still have to take small bites, but I can eat more
and I get hungry sooner. I tried to get in for a fill this week but they have nothing til next wednesday so thats when I will go.
I will have to be careful not to gain  weight between now and then. I ate lasagna tonight, and I had it in my head that I could
take bigger bites and eat faster, so I ended up PBing my 3 bites of dinner. I have been told that when that happens, that I
have to go back to liquids for two days. I don't want to go back to liquid for two days, and you know what, I probably won't
because I'm not good at keeping rules. This is totally off the subject now, but I would like to share with you an amazing fact.
I am a christian, and would like all to know his great grace. He died for our sins and rose again after three days. When we beleive in him and repent for our sins he will come in to our lives and redeem them. Honestly, I am such a mess, and lack
so many things mentally emotionally and physically, but daily I abide in him and he continues to be faithful to strengthen me 
and comfort me. It doesn't mean hard things won't still happen, but he carries us through those desperate times when
we can't go on in our own strength. I guess this seems out of left feild, but it is whats on my heart today and on my mind.

 It is crazy here in the pacific northwest. we are at a high elevation, so as it has been snowing for a few days,
we now have about three feet of snow. our friends and family that live down town have a good two feet. I actually
love it. I have snow chains on my van, so I didn't have to miss any work and surprisingly, I didn't have very many
cancelations. I think the last time our area had this much snow, it was the early 70's. Well, on the weight loss
progress, I'm doing pretty well. I haven't been posting anything lately and I haven't communicated with my OH
friends for a while. Sorry guys. I hit a plateau for a while and even gained a few pounds back, so I was not in
the mood to discuss any of it. Now I know that I had waited too long between fills so I will be careful not to let that
happen again. I seriously have to go buy some clothes as soon as this snow melts. I have a few things that fit
but not enough. I'm not complaining, I'm actually bragging:)  I hope every one has a Merry Christmas and a

 Today I had my 4th fill. I had my third fill just three weeks ago. For the first 
2 weeks, I had great restriction, but this last week, I have been able to eat quite a bit. I could also eat rice and little bits of bread, so I was glad to get
a fill. I had lost 7 pounds since my last fill, and I was so excited. I haven't
been weighing at home lately because the scale would either stay the
same, or go up and down with the same couple of pounds. My nurse
told me I was probably pretty close to my sweet spot, so I didn't schedule another fill. She said to call when I was either able to eat more than I should
be able to, or when I'm not losing a pound or two each week. She also
said that as I lose weight, my stomach will shrink, making the band looser.
So thats why we need more fills as we go.

 Well I finally got my roots done! They look maaavalous! I had my third fill 
a couple of days ago. After my second fill I had a good amount of restriction for a few days, but when the swelling went down I was hungry again. I wasn't 
able to eat like before though so I still lost a few pounds. Right now I can't
eat very much, protein shakes go down easier than solids, although, for
lunch and dinner I am eating solids. We'll see where I'm at in three weeks.
That's when I have my next fill scheduled. We are still dealing with the stress
of our daughter's health stuggles. We saw a specialist the other day, and I thought he would just schedule surgery and send us on our merry way, but 
it looks like there are going to months more of testing to see if the tumor
(she has a pituitary tumor) is caused by an autoimmune disease called cushings disease, or if it is just a tumor that is producing hormones and
fowling everything up. My son is doing very well, he is taking classes at our
community college to receive his high school diploma and an associates
degree all by the time he is 18, so I am very proud of him, he is now 15.
Emmy, our daughter enrolled in one class, but couldn't do it right now
so we will try later, she is 14 now. I was homeschooling , but it felt like time
to add some outside stuff. Only because I suck at homeschooling and
thought I was going to have to go on elephant tranqualizers to continue.

 Hi guys,
well I had my 2nd fill last week, and I can really tell the difference. My weight
had been at a stand still since about a week after surgery. My appetite
has decreased a lot, and I have lost 4 pounds this week. I was so relieved to finally see some weight loss. That was a long weight. Pun intended. Well
my life has been so busy, that I hadn't had my nails filled since before my surgery, and I am a hairdresser who is sporting some pretty big roots. It
has just been one random thing after another. I have another fill scheduled
in 2 weeks, so I will let you all know how it goes.

Well, I had my first fill today. The nurse at my surgeons did it under flouroscopy. She said usually it is after the third fill that people have
decent restiction. I go back in three weeks, but she said if I want I can call and reschedule it for two weeks from now. Until next time, take care everyone 

 well, I was going to wait till tomorrow after my fill to post, but I am venting
today. I  am week late on my TOM, and I guess that is the result of losing
weight. I am crampy and depressed and hungry and yesterday I ate way too much. I am feeling like a failure today. I am scared that I will go up in weight
Today I will start over. I feel bloaty, like I could start my TOM at any minute, and I have heard that hat can affect your fill because of the inflamation in
your body. Well weather I fuss over all this or not, my first fill is tomorrow.
PMS  is the worst! Well I will post again on a brighter note. until then, take
