OMG I signed up for a half marathon!

Life is still good, and I still run 3 times a week. I have also started cycling, and doing a spinning class. I have participated is several 5km races this past year, and the best one of all was The Biggest Loser walk/run series in Plattsburgh NY. I have now signed up to run the half marathon in this race, and I will start training in Feb 2014. I have ran 5 5km races in the past 2 weeks, and am loving it. Still weighing just shy of 200 (always want to stay in onederland).

I got my wish of running! I ran 4 races of 5km each last fall, and it felt so good! I typically run 3 times a week, anywhere from 3km to 5km. I joined a learn to run program last year, and my goal was to participate in the army run, and I did it! I have put back on some weight, and keep in the 190's now. I wear a size 14 which was my original goal. Still having a hard time with water. Overall, life is good.

For Christmas, I told my dh that I wanted some personal training sessions, and that's what he got for me. It's an investment in myself. I want to learn how to run.....pretty strange eh? I have never been able to run, always out of breath, but now, I want to learn how. I participated in the Terry Fox 10 km walk last fall, and felt fantastic for being part of it. My goal is to be able to run at least part of it.
I am still between 162 and 166 pounds, and wearing a size 8/10. Still feeling good. Still struggling with getting in my water. I have gotten my hair cut short, and I really like this style (I always had it pretty long, and kind of hid behind it).

I now weigh 163 and feeling pretty good. Hernia is still bothering me a little, but not enough to have surgery (my choice). Still fighting with myself to drink water.....trying to drink more herbal teas. Wearing size 12 to 8 depending on if they are stretchy or not. Walking lots. Don't ever want to get above 170...plan on staying here. Would like to get into the 150's, but at this point, it's just a number.
Planning on doing the Terry Fox Run in September here in Cornwall.....10km....wow.....walking and jogging.

Goal reached

I have recently reached my goal of 175 pounds. I now comfortably wear a size 12, and fit into some size 10 pants. WOW. I am generally feeling good. My umbillical hernia is bothering me, and a surgeon here said that he would repair it and take the excess skin off as well. I am waiting until it gets worse, because I don't really want to have surgery again. Hair has stopped falling out, but nails are still brittle, but not too bad. Eating very well, 3 meals a day with 2 snacks. Still not drinking enough water....have to make an effort to do that.

I started out as a size 26, and now am wearing a size 18 comfortably, and squeezing into a size 16. My goal is to be wearing a regular med/large in regular clothing stores. I have been shopping at several outlets, and at Value Village, because I don't want to spend a ton of money on a wardrobe that I will be dropping out of. I have given most of my old clothes away, and have dropped some of the good stuff off at the consignment store, so I can buy more clothes. I must say that I am starting to feel good about shopping. My head hasn't caught up to my body....I still see myself as the plus size girl.
