Still waiting

So I'm a little under a month before my scheduled surgery date and I am litterally counting down the days. I am so excited!
Park Nicollet called me at work today and recognized the number right away. I was really excited thinking that they may have moved my surgery date up but no luck there. They called to tell me that my surgery time had been moved from 8am to 7am on the 11th. So nothing too major but I did check with Georgene about an earlier date and she said she would make a note if anything opened up for earlier. Of course with needing to do the LD 10 days before I'll know by the end of the month if I get an earlier day.
So I'm back to waiting and preparing for my trip to TX at the end of the month to see family. Hopefully things are still a go there. Otherwise, work, work, work.

Excitement and disappointment

So I am super excited that i finally have a date of surgery!! Woo-hoo!! But I have to wait a whole month and a half practically. I guess if that's what I need to do, I will. Maybe I'll get lucky and my date will be moved up. I hear it happens quite often... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will.
