oh its amazing what you can do by yourself when you dont have an annoying pulled muscle...lol

I'm feeling amazing!!!... im getting up more and more and i no longer have to use tongs to reach shit on the floor...lol

all my incisions are doing well except for one, which has a stitch hanging out of it, but i'm watching it closely for any infections, but is looking good...should be completely healed within a few weeks im sure...

i can finally have some real food.... april 1, i can start to have meats, eggs, cheeses.... im looking forward to it...i love cottage cheese, but i can only be so creative with it...lol

i have my IVC filter taken out on the 3rd...and i can go back to work on the 7th...which i must say its been a nice mini-vacation...lol

My 6week post-op is april 21, but ill be able to see how much ive lost since my 2 week post op appointment on the 3rd.... yay!!!

My brother-5yrs post op- has learned that his RNY has fused back together for some odd reason...(????) didnt think that was possible, but Doc says he's gonna try to see if they can just do a revision of the hole that has been created, but he may have to open him again and do another RNY... keep him in your thoughts on April 20th!!!

hey everybody, i know its been a few weeks....

had surgery on March 4th, but doc couldnt do my RNY and i ended up with a VSG...

had my 2 week post-op appointment today, im down 37lbs!!!!!! 

a total of 73 since January....... OMG!!!!!!!

im still a little sore, due to pulling a muscle under one of my incisions, but its better everyday...

im happy to say that im no longer on the supplements!!!!!! THANK YOU LORD!!!!! lol

Saw Todd today at Dr. Bakers (MMPC)... in the last two weeks, ive lost 20lbs!!!!!!


only 6days left until my surgery..... yay!!!!!!

My surgery is on Tuesday, March 4th!!!!!!!!!

heard from Kathy today at MMPC...... 

she told me that i needed my pelvic/PAP updated and my lab work done.... and then......

she told me that starting Jan 1, 2008, BCBS has changed their requirements for surgery....it is now only 6months of consecutive, but people with BMI's over 50, that they no longer require preauthorization!!!!! (and here i thought they were gonna push me down again!!! lol)

i cried...then screamed yay!!!!!... and cried some more....

i got my composure and called my mom...she cried..... aunt? yep she cried to....hahahaha

my ultimate goal is to have it before my bday (mar 17th)

                                 

seen Psych and surgeon yesterday

Dr. Glass was very nice and said that i am good to go...no red flags...lol

Dr Baker is awesome!... he said that he's glad to finally see me (went to a few of mom, brothers, sis in laws, and aunts appointments)

He told me id have to have a filter put in to catch potential clots...and that he would rather me do the diet for 3 weeks, and not 2...ugh...

He's an amazing doctor...never had a doctor make me feel as comfortable as he did...

He says its a go!!!!! YAY!!!!!

Now waiting time for insurance......

WARNING...IM VENTING....

went to see the internist on wednesday (nov 21) and she thinks BCBS will have an issue with my 12 mo consecutive WL attempts....

im so mad.....frustrated.....depressed......

i feel like ive been pushed back about 5 ft from where i thought i was in this journey....

ugh...... 

damn insurances......lol

well its been 5 months since my last post....

since then, ive waited my 6month pre-existing bullshit....I NOW HAVE MY DATES SCHEDULED!!!!!

i get to see the internist on November 21st at 9am....yay!!!!!!

i will then see the behavioralist (make sure i wont go nuts) and Dr. Baker on the 28th...bigger yay!!!!!!!

im so glad this is all hapening now...

think happy thoughts for me!!!

well, im now with BCBS insurance, it was affective April 20th...so now i have to wait my 6mo for pre-existing bullshit...lol

im glad this is all coming together FINALLY!!!!! my sis-in-law JUST had her RNY done on wednesday... i told her she was a bitch cuz it took only 2months for her to get approved and scheduled...hahahaha

but it will be my turn soon!!!! yay!!!!! 

went to my orientation today... Dr. Kemmeter was the speaker...he was awesome with the presentation...

now its time to submit my application for insurance...they have a 180day pre-existing, so it may take me 6mo or more....hopefully i can get it waived...

*sigh*
