Jason, so glad to hear you are home and feeling a little better since the surgery. I am having my surgery on July 9th and always appreciate the new posties letting me know how it was for them. Good luck to you and keep it all positive! {{{HUGS}}}

WELL HELLO ALL. IT'S FIVE DAYS (5-25)POST OP AND NOT TO BAD. JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW....THERE IS PAIN, ALOT. BUT BE PATIENT IT GOES AWAY WITH EVERY DAY. SO FAR THE HARDEST THING IS THE MENTAL NEED TO CHEW AND EAT.. IM NOT HUNGRY BUT I WANT TO CHEW ON SOMETHING. I HAVE BEEN DRINKING LOTS OF LIQUIDS, (WATER, SUGAR FREE JUICE, SUGAR FREE TEA, BOULLION..ETC) I'M FINALLY ABLE TO SLEEP ON MY SIDE SEMICOMFORTABLY BUT I STILL GET A FEVER EVERY NIGHT BUT IT GOES AWAY. JUST REMEMBER EVERYONE....TAKE IT DAY BY DAY, IT ONLY GETS BETTER. WELL THATS ALL FOR NOW SO TATA AND I WRITE SOON--------------JASON 5-25-2002

Good Luck Jason! I will be thinking about you. I had my surgery 4/1/2002 - 43 pounds gone already. Best decision I made. Let us know how you are doing!
