Considering VSG

I am considering VSG... I am about 80 lbs over weight and have difficulty with arthritic spine and joints....so have been very inactive. I have been on NSAIDS for a long time to help control my pain . I'm very concerned if I have to get off these because if I'm in severe pain then I don't think I will have achieved anything. I'm 59 but feeling 80 at least..lol. I'm interested in feedback if anyone else has any beneficial info. Thanks.
