Wednesday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!

I have just completed everything in the packet with the surgeon's office. The psychologist's report was the last piece I was waiting for and it got faxed to them on Tuesday (10-5-04). Now comes the hard part, the insurance company. I have not heard of anyone who has used my insurance company for the surgery and, in fact, all the insurance carriers that I could choose from next year will not allow the surgery as part of their plan. This is my only chance until they start allowing it again. I try to live in the moment and not think about possibly having to fight the company; one moment at a time. In the meantime, I wait.
