I have been overweight since junior high school. Then of course after the boys were born there was the added weight then. But in the last two years I gave up smoking because my doctor told me I would keep getting pneumonia as long as I smoked. three times in one year was to much. So I gave up smoking and then of course instead of picking up a cigerrette I picked at food instead. I dont have any one fav thing that I had to have I just pick all day little snacks. But as of late my doctors have told me that the pain I am in constantly is because of the added weight. I have chronic back pain. Then I started having problems with my knees and of course they did an MRI and found nothing but some bones fragments but not big enough to cause the pain I was in. The added weight is the culprit. So then I have pain in my foot of course that doctor just hands me perscriptions for pain. I dont like pills and wanted an answer not just to be drugged up. So I deal with that pain also.
I have tried the WW and the fad diets, and the diet pills. the fasting, etc etc etc. I have tried to watch everything I take in and I gain weight. I even gave up chocolate which is my all time fav thing. But it has been 8 months since i have had some and I still gain weight. I ride my bike for exercise and It causes tons of pain but I do it hoping it will help me lose weight for the pain to go away.
I have met some great people so far from this site and this is the best decision I have made to do this for me to make my life pain free. To help me live longer so that I can see my kids get married, have kids and take care of the grand kids.
