It's been a few weeks since I have blog. I have had two more fills and and doing very well, but after my fills I can not eat eggs. It is something about the smell and that has been the only thing that has made me sick at my stomach. I had 1 cc put in each visit. Last month I struggled with eating the right portions and I could see the old me opening the frig and look in and not even hungry. But I got over that hurdle. Having the surgery have inspired my oldest daughter to lose weight, she was a size 18 now she is wearing a 12. I am so proud of her for making that change right now in her life to become healthy. FIRST FILL :^)

Well I had my first fill 7/27/2010 and had lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks! The fill was not as bad as I had heard it would be. I got the fluid off just in time and more excited now to keep this weight loss journey going.

He showed where the band was and I will return in 3 weeks for my first fill. That will be right after my family Reunion, I was thinking about moving that date up, but I guess this will be a test to see how I can handle food, sodas and all that other bad things that are not allowed
. I am thinking I can pack a small ice chest with my Jell-o and Protein Drinks and still be sociable. Any way be in Prayer for me to be strong. Until next time God Bless each of you!
Life after surgery

Hello, well the day of my surgery I arrived at Wadley Hospital in Texarkana TX. Little history on Texarkana one side of Statline Street is in the great State of Texas while the other side is the Natural State of Arkansas.So I was in two States the day of my Lap Band how awesome is that!!! Hospital and staff was great I was very calm for I know this was about to be my New Life Change and i was very excited. I had very little pain for the first two days and was able to walk. I heard that Gas was a booger and thank the Lord it moved out fast
. I wake up from a good nap(still medicated) and there was my mom with a subway and oh how my mind started with the tricks. Why did I do this I could be having a chicken orchard subway! Why Why Why!! Then I came back to myself and repeated Why do your knees hurt and Why can't you walk up a flight of stairs. This is a Blessing, Be thankful,This is what is Best for You and Your Family. God has brought you so far so Be thankful because there are others that would love to have this procedure and there insurance want pay. If you noticed I always have a lot on my Mind.

I visited with my Dr today, now it seem real to me that after over 6 month of office visits and insurance co-payments. I have made it and only a few days till surgery! The liquid diet have really drained my energy. Is there any drinks that can give me a boost??
